Become a Block Representative

Being a Block Representative is a great way to get to know your neighbors and help the community stay connected and informed. It’s a fun and easy way to be an active member of EARC.  The responsibilities of Block Representatives are:

  • Serve as part of the Board of Directors for EARC.
  • Encourage your neighbors to join EARC, to renew their membership every year and to participate in EARC events.
  • Establish or use an existing communication method that involves as many of the neighbors on your block as possible in order to distribute EARC news.
  • Share news from your block with EARC so that it can be shared with other neighbors.
  • Connect with other Block Representative to swap ideas, stories, and resources.

Ready to be a Block Representative? Be sure to check the "Block Representative" box on the membership form when you join EARC. Already a member? Just send us an e-mail to join the Block Representative team and/or learn who the Block Representative is on your block.
